Public access to the home page
Mark demo cards as public
Setting a demo card to publicly visible allows a user, who is not logged into the site, to view the card content.
NOTE: Users who are not logged into the site do not have access to the comments on the demo card, nor can they bookmark a demo card.
To make a demo card public:
- In Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Demo Cards:
- Search the demo card, and click Edit:
- Scroll down to Visibility Restrictions and select Publicly visible:
- Click Save properties to save the changes:
Asset Role Restrictions
Once a demo card is made public all assets on the demo card inherit Public visibility unless a Role restriction is placed on the asset.
To place a Role restriction on an asset:
- In the Edit Demo Card view, scroll down to Assets and click Edit:
- Scroll down to Visibility Restrictions and select Add additional role restrictions:
- Once the Roles have been chosen, select Save properties.
Mark custom pages as public
Setting a demo card to publicly visible allows a user, who is not logged into the site, to view the card content.
To make a page public:
- In Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Portal Pages:
- Navigate to the Portal page and click Edit:
- To view the page properties, click Edit:
- Within Visibility Restrictions, select Publicly visible:
- Click Save Properties to save the changes:
NOTE: Once a page is Publicly visible, only the content that has been made publicly visible will show for a user not logged into the site.
Public access to the home page
Global administrators can make the site home page public. There is an additional site setting to control whether or not the home page is visible to the public.
To make the home page public:
- In Adobe Demos Admin, click Manage Site Settings:
- Next to Home page publicly available, click Edit:
- Enable the Home page publicly available setting and then click the check mark to save changes.
