In a manual collection, you pick the exact cards and the order you want to display them in. In an automatic collection, you build a query that automatically displays all the cards that match, even as new ones are added.

To set up a manual collection type:

1. At Select widget to add to page, click Demo Collection.
2. On Add demo collection widget page 1, under Choose collection type, click Manual:
   
   
   
   
3. Click Next.
4. On Add demo collection widget page 2, under Provide widget properties, complete the settings:
   
   
   
   

   Demo Collection Title	Type a title for the collection widget.
   Demo Collection Summary	Type a summary for the widget.
   Display widget title	Click the toggle button to display the widget title above the collection on the page.
   Display widget summary	Click the toggle button to display the widget summary above the collection on the page.
   Show all cards on page	Click the toggle button to show all cards on the page. If you don’t turn this on, the number of cards displayed is limited to four, with a Display More link at the top of the collection (if there are more demos to display).

   
   
   
5. Click Next.
6. At Add demo collection widget page 3, under Choose collection content, click + Add demo card.
7. In the Select demo cards dialog, select the cards you want to add.
8. Click Add selected.
9. At the bottom right, click Add.
10. Repeat the previous steps from + Add Widget above for each widget you want to add.
11. Once you’ve added the demo cards, you can sort, preview, and delete them using the controls on each of them in the list:
    
    

    Sort	Click and hold the sort icon to drag a card to a different position in the order:
    Preview	Click the preview icon to view the card:
    Delete	Click the delete icon to delete the card:

    
    
    
12. Click Save.

To set up an automatic collection type:

1. At Select widget to add to page, click Demo Collection.
2. On Add demo collection widget page 1, under Choose collection type, click Automatic:
   
   
   
   
3. Click Next.
4. On Add demo collection widget page 2, under Provide widget properties, complete the settings:
   
   
   
   

   Demo Collection Title	Type a title for the collection widget.
   Demo Collection Summary	Type a summary for the widget.
   Display widget title	Click the toggle button to display the widget title on the page.
   Display widget summary	Click the toggle button to display the widget summary on the page.
   Show all cards on page	Click the toggle button to show all cards on the page.

   
   
   
5. Click Next.
6. On Add demo collection widget page 3, under Set collection query, complete the settings:
   
   
   
   

   Include demos from	all demo groups Default the following demo groups Select the groups you want: Select the following demo groups from the drop-down. Click below the drop-down and select the groups you want to add. Click again to add more groups.
   with	any tags Default any of the following tags Returns demo cards that have one or more of the selected tags: Select any of the following tags from the drop-down. Click below the drop-down and select the tags you want to add. Click again to add more tags.

7. Click Add.
